About Me
Hi, I’m Daniel! I’m an award-winning Game Developer and graduate of the University of Huddersfield with a First Class Degree in Computer Science w/ Games Programming.
Ever since I was only 2 years old (this is true!), I adored video games. More specifically, the unique experiences and feelings they provide.
I come from a family with a deeply ingrained love for gaming, so much so that we had a family business about it throughout all my childhood! A popular LAN Gaming Centre that you may have heard of called LANCity throughout the early 2000s.
I started creating games as early as the first level editors I used such as Halo: Forge, and Far Cry Instincts: Predator’s. However, I would credit my true drive to design games to the LittleBigPlanet series. When I was 8 years old, It was truly mindblowing to me that I could design, code, sculpt, and publish a complete experience to someone else online that they could not only play, but rate and comment on.
I am currently a director of my own indie game company Head Empty Studios, as well as an online tutor of Game Design at Software Academy. To date, I have designed the commercial title Shuttle Revolution, the successfully funded Kickstarter board game Fatal Knockout, and many more. Be sure to check out my portfolio!
